The Traveling Leasing Specialist is a special leasing role that requires 50-100% travel and/or temporary and/or long-term assignments for properties that are in lease up, need concentrated leasing efforts, have leasing challenges or are newly acquired. The Travel Leasing Specialist initiates and coordinates all phases of apartment leasing on assigned sites and is a top ranked sales employee and leads by example for the other leasing staff. The primary objective is to assist the Property Manager in generating satisfactory cash flow, achieving lease up and/or stabilization, positive resident relations and optimal resident retention.
Buckingham is seeking someone who is highly experienced and innovated in leasing, driving traffic, and outreach and is extremely organized. The successful candidate will have a:
Minimum of four years’ experience in the sales/marketing of multifamily properties
Minimum of two years’ experience in pre-development, lease up and/or grand opening experience in the multi-family property management industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, LRO, CRM, Rent Café, Chat Meter, Satisfacts
Successful track record in CRM, improving lead generation, maintaining a cohesive brand

As Travel Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating, implementing, and reviewing marketing programs and working to motivate a team of leasing consultants to meet goals, ensuring attainment of expected occupancy and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring the office and additional units on the property are in condition of Buckingham standards. The Travel Leasing Specialist will be responsible for assisting to lease up assigned properties, walking properties and units, thus allowing frequent travel as a requirement for this role.
