Overview

Buckingham is seeking dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate candidates to join our team as a Senior Data Analyst. The Senior Data Analyst supports the Executive Leadership team to effectively execute the departmental operations plan. The successful candidate is responsible for a variety of tasks including support to the Operations and IT Team, collaboration with business partners to define key metrics and deliver data solutions, oversight of future rollouts of department data solutions, and developing custom reports and dashboards. Responsibilities will include a broad range of tasks involving time sensitive, confidential, and changing priorities. This position is a Hybrid role that will require the individual to work agreed upon days in our corporate office.  We want to hear from candidates who are looking for a great opportunity in a growing company with a good culture.

 

Qualifications

Training/Education:

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
SQL Experience
Power BI Experience
Yardi YSR/Custom Reports a Plus
Advanced Excel skills


Experience/Skills:
Minimum of five years of experience in a data analyst role with experience developing
dashboards and custom reports

Ability to partner with internal business customers and deliver data solutions and insights that
meet the needs of the customer
Knowledge of Power BI or a similar data visualization tool
Knowledge of API Integrations and how data is shared and stored in SaaS applications

Experience utilizing a Data Warehouse and understanding data structures

Knowledgeable utilizing Excel data
Technology savvy with software
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent writing, spelling and grammar skills
Demonstrated success at problem solving and handling complex issues with a calm
demeanor

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the VP of Operations and the Senior Director of Business Systems to effectively
  • execute the departmental operational plan
  • Focuses on achieving short and long-term goals for the organization, while meeting all
  • requirements defined in the departmental SLA
  • Communicates the organization’s strategy so that all internal and external customers
  • understand the company strategic plan and departmental operational plan
  • Responsible for utilizing data tools to enable and champion the company’s data strategy
  • Collaborates with business partners to define key metrics, discuss data insight opportunities
  • and deliver data solutions (dashboards and reports) to meet the internal partners needs
  • Oversee future rollouts of department data solutions and provide on-going maintenance for
  • future changes
  • Gain a broad understanding of the company’s databases and the data structure of each
  • business application for data visualization
  • Develop custom reports (utilizing SQL, Excel, Yardi YSR, etc.) and dashboards as required
  • Ability to recognize patterns in a data or graph to provide context to the data visualization
  • tools
  • Understanding of our SaaS applications and how integrations work between systems and our
  • centralized data strategy
  • Provides timely responses to end users in a professional, customer service-oriented fashion
  • that resolves core issues as efficiently as possible
