Overview

The Revenue Optimization and Analytics Manager supports the VP of Business Solutions to oversee the company’s rent revenue management strategy based on organizational goals and market conditions for residential properties. In addition, this role will own reporting for tracking, monitoring, and measuring results to define property management's financial and operational key performance indicators. The role should understand analytics tools and options to develop and automate property management reporting. The Revenue Optimization and Analytics Manager will focus on achieving short and long-term goals for the organization while meeting service-level expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and provide data visibility and transparency for informed decision-making to further the company’s mission, vision, and values. Additional responsibilities include involvement in the budgeting process and ownership of the budgeting tools for the delivery of property budgets.

Qualifications

Training/Education

  • College degree preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable private transportation

Experience/Skills

  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in Property Management
  • Knowledge of “commonly used” Information Systems throughout the company including LRO, Yardi and P2P
  • Knowledge of the budgeting process and possible tools
  • Ability to lead small/medium sized projects as assigned
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and other business related software
  • Financial analysis background and experience a plus
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality; discretion is a must

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Vice President of Business Solutions to execute the departmental strategic plan effectively
  • Focuses on achieving short and long-term goals for the organization while meeting all requirements defined in the departmental SLA
  • Communicates the organization’s strategy so that all internal and external customers understand the departmental strategic plan
  • Functions as executive oversight and primary point of contact for the outsourced Revenue Managers, providing strategy, direction, and feedback based on the company’s goals.
  • Provides timely end-user support and resolves AIRM helpdesk tickets by the Operations SLA to ensure internal customer satisfaction
  • Researches and understands market and sub-market conditions and views the company’s rent revenue management strategy based on organizational goals for residential properties
  • Develops and maintains Revenue Management policies & procedures and ensures AIRM system administration documentation is maintained and updated regularly; and researches, organizes, develops, and implements rollout plans for new modules and system processes, including system testing procedures to ensure end results match the desired outcome
  • Develops and enforces revenue processes for non-optimized property types – Student, Affordable, Single-Family, etc.
  • Contributes to the annual Property Management budgeting process for residential and commercial assets. Owner of the budget template, tools, and roll-up reporting needs.
  • Develops, establishes, and distributes monthly reporting for tracking, monitoring, and measuring results to defined Property Management financial and operational key performance indicators, ensuring reporting data, metrics, and detailed analyses are accurate and consistent across sources and deliverables
  • Functions as a Property Management Report system matter expert with knowledge of Yardi custom reports and tools. Identifies opportunities to automate or simplify Buckingham’s reporting processes.
  • Collaborates with senior management and executive leadership to identify key reporting metrics and provides data visibility and transparency for informed decision-making to further the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • Compiles monthly financial review reports with performance trend analytics for Property Management
  • Contributes to the semi-annual reporting process for the company’s KPI incentive plan
  • Provides support for departmental team members and their personal career goals
  • Builds relationships with external departments and vendors to improve team and departmental delivery effectiveness
  • Acts as a resource and support for the Business Solutions Team based on departmental needs and goals
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and guidelines and demonstrates professionalism in all oral and written communications
  • Handles situations in a manner that reflects the organization in a positive light
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
