Overview

The Yardi Applications Specialist provides end user and customer support of Yardi Voyager Plus and RENTCafé products for all Buckingham Market, Student Housing, and LIHTC properties.  The Yardi Applications Manager will be responsible to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve reported problems with RENTCafé CRM, Orion BI, Concierge, and RENTCafé Site Manager.  The candidate must have analytical and critical reasoning skills and maintain a professional and customer service focus.

The Yardi Application Specialist focuses on achieving short- and long-term goals for the organization, meeting service level expectations to ensure customer satisfaction, and collaborates with corporate and property team members while working with the Yardi Systems Manager to improve efficiency and performance to further the company’s mission, vision and values.

Qualifications

Training/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, finance, management, or combination of college credits and equivalent work experience required
  • Residential property management experience required
  • RENTCafé and RENTCafé CRM, Orion BI, and Concierge end-user and/or administration experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and provide annual proof of auto insurance

 

Experience/Skills 

  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in Property Management
  • 1-3 years of Yardi Voyager, Voyager Plus, and RENTCafé end-user experience
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow; ability to determine urgency of issues.
  • Ability to think independently and analytically and make recommendations accordingly
  • Must be able to interact with all levels and disciplines of employees and develop relationships to assist in managing the requirements of the job
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality; discretion is a must
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote work environment

Responsibilities

  • Supports the YardiBusiness Systems Managerto effectively execute the departmental strategic plan 
  • Focuses on achieving short and long-term goals for the organization, while meeting all requirements defined in the departmental SLA
  • Communicates the organization’s strategy so that all internal and external customers understand the departmental strategic plan
  • Provides end-user support for property management team members utilizing Yardi software and resolves helpdesk tickets in accordance with the Operations SLA to ensure internal customer satisfaction 
  • Assists the Business Systems Manager to track, monitor, review and report helpdesk ticket histories by category and by property to identify trends and training needs
  • Assists the Business Systems Manager with Yardi system setup for acquisitions and new development properties
  • Participates in the Yardi Weekly Meeting and supports the Business Systems Manager to implement Yardi pipeline projects on time, within budget and with quality
  • Lead and direct Yardi Voyager Plus and RENTCaféAccount Managers for system support, implementations, and maintenance of Buckingham processes and/or initiatives 
  • Work closely with Marketing and Property Management departments to support, implement, and maintain company-wide workflows with Yardi Voyager Plus, RENTCafé and RENTCafé Connect 
  • Collaborate in the planning, development, and deployment of new Yardi Voyager Plus modules and enhancements
  • Keeps current on all Yardi Voyager Plus modules and RENTCaféfeature updates for system changes to ensure software is understood and utilized to fullest capacity 
  • Assists the Business Systems Manager with Yardi system upgrades, implementations, integrations and maintenance through validation and testing of proposed resolutions and releases
  • Ensures the back-end system setup of P2P and PayScanusers 
  • Meets department SLA’s for end user support of all Yardi Voyager Plus and RENTCaféprograms through Service Desk ticketing program to ensure internal customer satisfaction 
  • Provides timely responses to end users in a professional, customer service-oriented fashion that resolves core issues as efficiently as possible
  • Partners with the Business Systems Manager to perform periodic system access reviews and ensures all back-end Yardi system settings, including other application interfaces, are set up accurately and functioning properly
  • Work closely with Business Systems Manager to support the development and modifications of Yardi Voyager Plus and RENTCafétraining content 
  • Assists with preparing and maintaining documentation for Yardi processes, policies and procedures
  • Provides support for departmental team members and their personal career goals
  • Builds relationships with external departments and vendors in order to improve team and departmental delivery effectiveness
  • Acts as a resource and support for the Operations and IT Team based on departmental needs and goals
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned by the VP of Business Solutions and Yardi Systems Manager
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures and guidelines and demonstrates professionalism in all oral and written communications
  • Handles situations in a manner that reflects the organization in a positive light
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
